This took two attempts lol. The first time I bought a jean jacket from Goodwill ($5) then completely destructed it (it was more than just your average denim jacket) and studded it. But it didn't fit like I want so I got it altered ($15). After getting it altered, it still didn't fit like I want.
It was just too loose fitting for me. So when my best friend mentioned she'd seen a similar DIY on another blog from a lady who used a kid's jacket to make a cropped denim vest, I decided to give that a try.
I did the same design with the studs that I did on the first attempt. I like the cropped version better, personally. This kid's jean jacket only cost me $2 and I used studs from the same pack I bought originally. And I still have studs left over! So maybe if I find another jacket that I really like the fit of I'll make another vest of some sort with a different design... or I might stud some jeans/shorts/t-shirt.... who knows?
Oh yea, went shopping today and found some cute shoes for a good price and a purse I absolutely LOVE! Pics & description coming soon :)

You should definitely do shorts. For a boho look. Cute
